RESERVATION OF PLANTS FOR PLANTING TIME.—While we try as far as possible to reserve plants on orders placed in advance, to be sent at planting time, it must be borne in mind that plants are highly perishable, and cannot be packed and stored for future shipment like most other kinds of merchandise. Weather conditions frequently interfere with making such reservations at the time the order is received, and when Sprinu opens there is usually such a congestion of orders for immediate shipment that it is impossible to make reserva- tions. Customers may rely on us doing our utmost ia making reservations, hut if we fail we assume no responsibility, and all advance orders are accepted on these conditions only. SAFE ARRIVAL GUARANTEED.—We guarantee the safe arrival of all goods sent by express or mail to points within the U. S. proper. If a package sent by express or mail is in- jured or lost we will replace it as soon as informed of the fact. Goods sent in any other way are solely at purchaser's risk. Claims for damages must be made on receipt of goods. We do not hold ourselves responsible for failure after delivery of the goods in good condition. HOW WE SHIP.—All plants, roots and bulbs are for. warded by express, purchaser paying charges. For those of our customers who prefer to receive their goods by parcel post, we will be pleased to forward in this manner such plants, etc., as can be sent in this way at the following additional cost
