ŠILUTE DISTRICT, Lithuania (August 18, 2013) - Sailors from Explosive Ordnance Disposable Mobile Unit 8, Platoon 801, along with Lithuanian sailors, participate in a wreath laying ceremony at Macikai cemeteries to commemorate three servicemembers who were held as prisoners of war and died in the Stalag-Luft VI prisoner of war camp during World War II. The event was held as part of the in port phase of Operation Open Spirit, an annual Baltic demining operation to clear deployed naval mines from World Wars I and II.
