Members of the Brooklyn Law School sponsored a rally on the steps of Borough Hall against Trump administration's attempts to ban immigration from certain countries. After a short march around the nearby federal court buildings, the attendees were asked to recite a pledge promising to protect the US Constitution & people in Brooklyn. Speakers braving the increasingly chilly weather included NY City Councilmember Carlos Menchaca, NYC Public Advocate Letitia James & Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams.
