With the exception of Sea Kale, the varieties un- der this heading are treated as directed for cabbage, and transplanted from the seed beds to the ground, allowing 2 feet between each. Curled Dwarf Green Scotch—Pkt., 5c; oz., 15c; *4 lb, 30c; lb, $ Sea Kale—A splendid vegetable when blanched and eaten as Asparagus. % lb, 75c; lb, $ Kohlrabi—Turnip-rooted Cabbage. One ounce will produce 2,500 plants. Sow in rows 18 inches apart, afterwards thinning to 8 or 10 inches. Early Purple Vienna—A favorite table sort; largely grown.
