The hospital has been evacuated of staff and approx 30 patients have been brought outside and are covered in white blankets gathered outside the main entrance of the hospital. Havant,Hampshire Friday 3rd June 2016 Fire crews have been called to a hospital in Havant this evening after a fire has broken crews from Havant and Cosham are at the hospital with two appliances at the rear of the estate of Elmsleigh Hospital. The hospital has been evacuated of staff and approx 30 patients have been brought outside and are covered in white blankets gathered outside the main entrance of the hospital. There is also large Police presents at the front of the hospital on New Road. Neighbours have said that they witnessed fire crews breaking a window before putting out a fire in one of the wards at the rear of the hospital. There was also smoke a some flames. Staff from the troubled Southern Health Managed hospital refused to release any details on the incident. It is believed that a small fire broke out in a patients fighters wearing breathing apparatus enter the building with a hose reel to check other parts of the building whilst other fire fighters are using a fan to clear smoke logging,©UKNIP
