In 1907 the Arnhem carpenter Geerlings built a house and coffee house; In 1910 Peter H, Gommans from Sevenum took over and established a hotel boarding pension with the name Buitenlust. At Buitenlust was a exchange place of the Maasbuurt Spoorweg. Behind the hotel on the Heuvel the Korenmolen built in 1862
