A heavy cavalry sword M 1826 for officers of the Russian cuirassiers Fullered single-edged blade. Fire-gilt brass hilt with three side bars, leather covered grip with wire wrap. Steel scabbard with two movable suspension rings, locket missing. Length 194 cm. Original attached sword-knot. Blade slightly shortened and partially stained. Rare. Cf. A.
