While the tire cannot possibly come off acci-dentally, the tension of the wire is so arranged that it allows the tire to be pushedaside sufficiently to enable a spoke to be put in when required, a point of someimportance. No cement is required, except for the purpose of preventing the en-trance of wet betweeen the tire and the rim, and in order to move any part of the tire,a little hejt will therefore be necessary.
