Oxford, England - 6 November 2017 An autumnal view of the Cherwell River in Oxford, with Magdalen College Tower also in view. This is part of my favourite walk in Oxford; it starts at The River Thames, just upstream of Folly Bridge, winds off on one of its tributaries, the River Cherwell, circumnavigates Christ Church Meadows and also includes the Botanic Gardens, Merton College and Deadman's walk. Although a great walk in all seasons, it comes into its own during Autumn, when parts of the meadows and footpaths along the River Thames glow with spectacular seasonal colour- as seen here.
