Most of the girls are seated on the floor aroiuid the copper tables ;but a number are seated at a table,and learn to eat a la Frank. Oncea week the girls change places, sothat all may learn to conduct them-selves at a table. After breakfastthe girls have their room w^ork andhousework to do. All the w^ork ofthe house is done by the girls, except. MISS MARY L. DANIELS. that they have help of several women inthe washing. Each teacher has a cer-tain portion of the work to supervise ;and at a quarter of eight the great houseis in order, and the wheels for the daybegin to turn.
