The circular medieval Dovecote, set in large grounds of the former monastery next to Tithecote Manor, a private house at Hurley village, a historical and medieval village on the river Thames in Berkshire, Britain. Both the house and Dovecote were built by the Benedictine monks in 1350. The Dovecote was a home for doves and the building itself was a status symbol as only the Lord of the Manor was allowed to have one Tithcote Manor was used by the monks as a second barn for storage for grain and other farming produce.
