Steel girders from demolished piers are stored in a lot at Hudson River Park in New York City on Sunday, March 30, 2014. These architectural elements along with numerous others are being stored in a lot in the park for future use in the complex park. The artifacts and others were part of the Landmarks Preservation Commission's salvage program which was discontinued in 2000. Some of the salvaged material was given away to Hudson River Park.
