Monument to René Waldeck-Rousseau, the 29th Prime Minister of France (June 22, 1899 - June 7, 1902) in the Jardin des Tuileries, Paris. The sculpture was created by Laurent-Honoré Marqueste ca: 1904-1910. The monument portrays the personification of France, embracing two workers who admire the bust of Waldeck-Rousseau within an architectural framework. Marqueste was a pupil of Jouffroy and Alexander Falguière. The monument is located near the Grand Bassin Octagonal.
