Head, thorax, and ahdomen dark brown mixed with gre}- ; tarsi ringed with whitish ; abdomen with white subdorsal streaks and fine segmental lines on basal segments. Fore wing brown mixed Avith grey, the median nervure, bases of veins arising from it and vein 1 on medial area streaked with white; a rather wedge-shaped whitish fascia in cell from before antemedial line to the reniform; a rather diffused oblique whitish line from cell to inner margin before the antemedial line, which is double, black-brown filled in with whitish and strongly excurved; reniform with brown centre and whitish annulus, narrow and rather produced at upper ex- tremity ; medial line indistinct, dark, sinuous, from lower angle of. Fig. 16.âEuielia rivata, J . \. cell to inner margin ; postmedial line double filled it with whitish, the outer line indistinct, oblique from costa to vein 6, then in- wardly oblique and sinuous, a similar faint dark line beyond it; subterminal line white, angled outwards at vein 6, inwards at discal fold and excurved at middle; a terminal series of indistinct dark lunules; a fine white line at base of cilia. Hind wing creamy white, The terminal area broadly suffused with fuscous brown with diffused inner edge; a faint discoidal spot; a sinuous whitish subterminal line forming a more distinct bar from vein 3 to tornus where there is a red patch
