Grain silo or kupro used to store maize for seed stock and food Mognori village community, Northern Ghana


Grain store or kupro in which maize is stored for food and seed stock. The goats and chickens use the area beneath for shade from the sun. The mud wall on the round grain silo has carved decorations which help prevent walls being washed away in wet season plus dictates status in village. The thatch on the hut is made from local grass and is used as well for fencing and walling.
