Warren Hill, Newmarket, Suffolk, UK. 29th August 2021. Newmarket, the home of the UK's horse racing, offers an alternative form of racing this bank holiday weekend: a soapbox derby down Warren Hill, over 400 meters in length, over and around several obstacles. Spectators lined the hill in their hundreds to see the homemade soapboxes race down the track which was cancelled last year because of the coronavirus pandemic. Teams included schools, colleges, local businesses and daring individuals battling it out to be named champion of the soapbox derby.
