Parker Earle. A most wonderful producer, having yielded at the rate of 15,000 quarts per acre. Thorough trials prove its adaptability to all cli- mates, out-yielding all others in the south or north, producing prodigiously in either wet or dry seasons. Stems strong and upright; as many as twelve to a plant, each carrying from 20 to 30 berries. This magnificent new berry produces wonderful crops on light soils, and endures hot, dry weather bet- ter than most strawberries. Perfect flowers; berries large, conical, regular and uniform, glossy crimson, flesh firm, reddish and in quality excellent. Early to late. 50 cts. per doz.; § per 100; § per 1000. Jessie. A seedling from the Sharpless ; perfect blossom ; fruit large to very large; dark scarlet color; firm and solid and of excellent quality; only moderately productive. 60 cts. per doz.; $ per 100 ; $ per 1000. The berries are large, quite regular in size, and form nearly conical; firm and solid, making it a good shipper ; color, a dark glossy crimson, giving it a brilliancy that but few varie- ties possess.
