Forty florists with their wives and families enjoyed a trip to Bryan, Wau- seon and Archbold Sunday, September 28, under the auspices of the Toledo Florists' Club. The party left the interurban station in a chartered car at 9:15 o'clock. At Bryan the greenhouses of C. Wonsettler were visited and after dinner Mr. Won- settler furnished touring cars for a trip about the town. On the return trip the car was stopped at Archbold, where Carl Baer, the carnation specialist, is located. The members of the club were much inter- ested in his methods. At Wauseon the Toledoans were entertained by Charles Jordan. Among those who made the trip were Mr. and Mrs. Harry Heinl, Mr. and Mrs. George Bayer, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lehmann, Mr. and Mrs. S. N. Peck, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Miller, Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Schiller, Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Kuhnke, Max Spanner, W. T. Phillips, George B. Schramm, Fred W. Ritter, C. L. Hurd. I. N. Keller, Will Ritter, W. S. Eakins, Arthur Raitz, Frank H. Lacher, A. L. Mills, Otto Krueger, John Barrow and daughter Josephine, Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Cushman, Chas. Leidiz, Miss Alma Leidiz, Miss Estelle Imoberstag, A. F. Lehr, Carl Bollinger, Mr. and Mrs. C. Winterich, John Oswald, Miss Adamschick and Arthur C. Kneisel. MONTGOMERY, AIiA. Business here is just at the turning point and the fall trade will soon keep everybody busy. Rosemont Gardens have a pretty dis- play at the Alabama State Fair, which is a credit to the trade and attracts a great deal of attention. The Morning View Floral Co. has moved into the new store on Perry street. W. E. Denny is doing well, with sev- eral wedding orders booked.* W. E. D. Middletown, O.—Th
