(Butler) Farmer wasan apt scholar; at the age of fourteen yearsshe had graduated from the Arlington gram-mar school, and at the time of her death shewas a member of an advanced class at theBoston Conservatory of Music, where she had \given marked promise of a talented artist; shedied at Arlington Heights, July 11, 1880, anda wide circle of friends mourned the loss ofso young and brilliant a career.
