Curious Gull (Laridae) in the Bering Sea during winter

Common Seagull photographed in the Bering Sea in the winter. Feeding off fishing discards, they will follow a fishing boat for weeks. They are smart enough in their food scavengeing that they lose much of their fear of man. This particular bird sat on the bow of my boat for hours.
