Tourists looking at a card rack oat a gift shop in a narrow street, Rue Georges Clemenceau in old town, Calvi in Corsica, a French island off the south coast of France in the Mediterranean. Corsica is the birthplace of two famous men – Christopher Columbus born in 1436 in nearby citadel that dominates the town's skyline. And, the other, is Napoleon Bonaparte born 1769, in Ajaccio on the island.
