Troglodytes adon.âThe House Wren. This well known and interesting bird arrives from the south the first week in May. It lives entirely upon insects, of which it destroys vast numbers. This little wren delights in living near the habitations of men, and builds its nest in any hole in a tree or stump it finds; eggs, six, pale reddish-brown. Color, reddish-brown. Family SYLVICOLID^.
