Fisherman using traditional dip casting of a net to catch fish in a large lake, near Mymensingh, Bangladesh. These are used mainly after flooding when fish are trapped by receding waters. A huge variety of freshwater fish are available in Bangladesh due to its delta geography. Most fish caught in this manner will end up as a supplement to the daily meal, while the larger ones will be sold at the weekly markets.
