It is especiallysuitable for children, where the vaginalroute is not distending the bladder with water, a vertical incision 6 to 8 is made in the middle line just above the symphysis, separating the rectiand the pyramid ales muscles, and pushing aside the fat underlying them,buttaking care not to cut the peritoneum.
