EIGHTH ARMY : THE ADVANCE CONTINUES - First cigarette for several months being given to two British soldiers who have escaped from the enemy. They are seen with men of the 16/5 Lancers and were the first to welcome the advancing British troops. The escapees are:- L/Cpl. George Foster Dobson - 6 Bn. who comes from Tubhoe Colliery, Spennymoor, Co. Durham, he was taken prisoner during the 8th Army advance across the Western Desert, and Sgt. Hector Bowman - 2 Bn. Scots Guards, who hails from Dinnet, Aberdeenshire British Army
