The mature larva measures approximately 32 mm. Head, soiled ivory, with a delicate whitish reticulation over the center of each cheek. It is relatively fiat, and bears a few white hairs. Ocelli black. Mouth parts tinged with brown. Body, ground color green, of a semi-translucent quality. In the median line there appears to be a discontinuous longitudinal dark green line, but this is actually due to fluids passing through a tube-like structure, the movements of which are visible through the skin.
