T & R Theakston is an independent brewer based in the small town of Masham in Yorkshire in the north of England although ownership has seen it as part of a National Brewing company in the past. Numerous changes and ownership have taken place since it began in 1827. XB is a ABV beer and is described by Theakstons as "A premium strength beer with a rich fruity taste to match.
