It grows naturally in swamps where the soil is rich muck and very wet. It can be kept growing and blooming (at intervals) the year round. Give an abundance of water when growing and blooming. Blooms best when somewhat pot-bound. Our bulbs are collected in one particular locality where they grow much finer and larger than any we- ever saw offered at the North.
