Albia Iulia, Romania - 16 October 2018; one woman, walking. Alba Iulia is an ancient city located on the Mures River in Transylvania, Romania. Its history stretches back to the Roman Empire. Here we see St Michael's Cathedral exterior. This is the oldest Roman Catholic Cathedral in the country. Destroyed and rebuilt many times, much of the building dates from the 10th an 11th centuries, although its bell tower is a much later addition.
