Covering frames with velvet, silk, chiffon,organdie, felt, cloth, straw, crepe, lace, and tulle. Draped COURSES OF STUDY 33 Second Year.—Making hats of milliners folds, shirring, tucked, orplain covering put on loosely and tacked in place or stretched ontightly; trimming and making all kinds of bows; making of flowersfrom ribbon; brightening up old straws, renewing velvet, crepe, andtulle. Third Year.—Making of caps, bonnets, and childrens hats; colorschemes; steaming and mirroring velvet; steaming and hemmingcrepe; insertion hats, and draping veils. Women who reside in the city may take the above courses with-out entering literary classes, if prepared to do the work. MANUAL TRAINING Basketry, chair-caning, rush-seating, wood-work.
