Christians walk from St Winifred's Roman Catholic Church to St Paul's Church, Heaton Moor as part of the Good Friday Procession of Witness, which started at St John The Baptist Church and moved to Heaton Mersey Methodist Church. Prayers are said at each procession is in remembrance of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, which is celebrated by Christians throughout the world on Good Friday.
