The Edlmann Memorial in Petts Wood. SEE DETAILS IN DESCRIPTION.

The memorial is in memory of Colonel Francis Edlmann who purchased the western part of Petts Wood to protect it from development. The estate was purchased by Robert and Francesca Hall following his death and they donated it to the National Trust in 1957. The western part of the wood is now known as Edlmann Memorial Wood.
