Glasgow, Scotland, UK. 20th June, 2018. This year's Glasgow Taxi Outing has set off from Kelvin Way in the West End. Organised by the Glasgow Taxi Outing Fund through fund-raising and sponsorship, the annual trip takes children with additional support needs, and their parents and carers, to the seaside town of Troon, South Ayrshire, for a memorable day out. This is the 73rd trip since its launch in 1945. The event features over 100 taxis lovingly decorated by their drivers, many wearing fancy dress, who each volunteer their time.
