Violets are about gone. Prices of both carnations and roses have dropped. Various Notes. Edward M. Pierce spent April 12 in Boston on business. Mr. Pierce has had to postpone a lot of outdoor work on account of the recent snowfall. Mrs. Timothy Shea has joined the sales force at Harry Reek's store on Union street. Plenty of funeral work kept the force busy at William P. Pierce's during the week. "William Brown, of Cedar street, is cutting some excellent callas.
