Quantock Staghounds October 7th 1981. After the kill there is the gralloch. Here the Huntsman cuts the liver from the carcase of the stag and shares pieces of it amongst hunt supporters gathered all around. This was long before the Hunting Act 2004 that banned this pastime on grounds of cruelty.
