Migrants on Chios Island - 04/01/2016 - Greece / Cyclades (the) / Chios island - Despoina is sitting on the back of the van with the backpacks in Chios port. Dancers and actors from Winter-rise festival gathered money to buy backpacks to distribute to the families of immigrants. The backpacks contained steeling bag, thermos and food. A team of five arrived in Chios island and in collaboration with the locals (Chios Solidarity) who are organising and supporting the refugee passage gave the emergency backpacks the first week of January 2016. - Stefania Mizara / Le Pictorium
