He says business is ^ood with him. John Grande is bringing his usual line of pot mums into the market, and they are finding a good demand. J. A. Peterson and wife spent a day in the city last week. They were on a motoring trip through Indiana, and in- cidentally talking begonias wherever the opportunity presented itself. Hartje & 'Elder have been cutting, cosmos and dahlias in large quantities. Bertermann Bros. Co. was quite busy with wedding decorations last week. Adolph Baur, secretary of the Ameri- can Carnation Society, is busy getting out the premium list for the coming show and is tdso soliciting advertising for it. Any one desiring space will communi- cate with Mr. Baur at once. The committee in charge of the au- tumn flower show reports satisfactory progress and indications point to a highly successful show. The public is showing unusual interest and many re- • quests are being .mside for tickets al- ready.
