Passengers wearing face masks were seen boarding a Wizz Air plane at London Luton this afternoon (Fri) as the Hungarian low-cost airline resumed flights to European destinations. They kept two metres apart as they checked-in for the flight to Sofia in Bulgaria at and most but not all kept their distance from each other as they boarded. Other passengers were earlier seen disembarking from the plane, which had arrived at Luton from Sofia and then flew straight back there. The company has introduced a number of strict security measures to support social distancing as it becomes the first airline to restore European flights today (Fri).
