This wasa subject that had not suggested itself to and Jackson. He then suggested thename Iberia, after a town in South America,the name having attracted his attention by itsbeauty. Accordingly, this name was then andthere adopted, and by this name it has ever sincebeen called. Other additions have since beenmade, the latest dating June 6th, 1851. Thevillage has now two large stores, of one of which Crane is proprietor, who is a live business man. *-.
