1969 Japanese Honda CB750 Four motorcycle


736 cc, 67 hp, top speed 125 hp. Honda entered the US market in the late 1950s by marketing small motorcycles to a non-traditional audience. At the end of the 1960s it launched its stunning 750 cc four-cylinder for the high performance market traditionally dominated by Harley Davidson and several British brands. The 750 Four was relatively inexpensive and bristled with extras such as disc brakes and four exhaust pipes as standard features. Honda entered several race-prepared 750 Fours in the 1970 Daytona 200 and won .A true super bike it has been credited with sounding the death knell for the British motorcycle industry.
