Dear Sir: The diagram on page 548 unfortunatelydoes not agree with the text, inasmuch asit shows the shutter in proper phase forpseudoscopic rather than true stereo-scopic vision. However, this is fully asuseful as true stereoscopic vision in manyinstances, and it is especially valuable inthe localization of foreign bodies. Thechange may be instantly made from onetype of vision to the other at the will ofthe operator by throwing a pole changingswitch in the transformer primary circuit. Fig. 2 o
