On the flat of the dish a medallion with a seated Chinese man leaning against a vase, next to him three Chinese characters; To the medallion a standing Chinese lady and on the other hand, a standing Lord with Characters on either side; Two cartouches, one with meander strap and one with bamboo, with a inscription in characters. The lid marked with the seal brand of emperor Daoguang (?). Crack in the bottom of the dish. Family R
