Church of St Peter and Paul, Bolton-by-Bowland, Lancashire UK
Some 5 miles north-east of Clitheroe, Bolton-by-Bowland nestles between the hills in the Ribble Valley. It is one of the most beautiful areas of Lancashire. The church of St Peter and St Paul dates from the 13th century, but the magnificent tower was rebuilt in 1852. Inside is a memorial to a local knight, Sir Ralph Pudsay, who had twenty-five children.
