View NE of two standing stones flanking a ruined cairn below the rocky hillside of the Beorgs of Housetter, North Mainland, Shetland, Scotland, UK. The stone sentinals are red granite, the cairn stones are white granite weathered to pale grey. The stones appear to form terminals to the horns of a heel-shaped chambered cairn whose concave facade faces E (R) towards the Loch of Housesetter. Smaller stones of a retaining kerb are visible around the sides & rear of the cairn. The standing stones are apart & aligned N-S. The large stone within the cairn may be the collapsed capstone of a burial chamber.
