Olive or brownish above, yellowish white beneath, with carmine spots, which are larger and brighter in the males, in which they may be confluent into longitudinal streaks ; fins greyish, dorsal and caudal spotted with carmine ; in males, anal edged with carmine and white, and lower border of caudal similarly marked.
