Ribs are very broad, thickly and closely set, while by reason of its neat growth and showy appear- ance, it is a specially valuable variety for mar- ket. It is also a first class keeper, remaining fit for use as long as the Golden Dwarf and other good keeping sorts. For the use of hotels, res- jtaurants and other large establishments, it is superior to most other kinds, there scarcely be- ing any waste in dressing for the table.' It has such a distinctive appearance in growth as to cause almost everyone seeing it to exclaim: 'What celery is that?' Long rows of it being as level and even as though each plant had been shaped in the same mould. It has already taken the lead as a keeping celery for winter use.
