Extensive roof greening with low-growing plants such as grape and sedum plants, which are largely self-sustaining without maintenance. They are well adapted to the extreme site conditions on the roof, extreme temperatures, frost, wind, heat, sun and little water. Roof vegetation provides insulation in winter and heat protection in summer, acting as a natural air conditioner to help save energy and strengthen urban climate resilience.
