Each piece bears the engraved cyrillic monogram "ON" beneath a grand ducal coronet and the crowned Russian double-headed eagle, St. Petersburg marks of fineness for "84" zolotniki, a hallmark for Dmitry Ilich Tverskoi "1840", and the artificer's mark "" (Henrik August Long).
