Simone Simon in the film Girls’Dormitory made in 1936 from a Ross Verlag card. This image has had some digital restoration. The original image was high contrast which has been reduced a little. Ross Verlag produced 22 miniature photo packs between 1933 and 1938 of major film stars of the period. Simone Simon was a French film actress who began her film career in made her screen debut in Le chanteur inconnu (The Unknown Singer, 1931), and quickly established herself as one of the country's most successful film actresses. Her American debut came in Girls’ Dormitory in 1936.
