Defending Champion, Laura Massaro (England), defeats Emma Beddoes (England) in the quarter-finals of the National Squash Championships at Sportcity, Manchester. Beddoes won the marathon first set 17-15, but falls in the second, returning with a bandaged knee, and loses the next three sets,4-11, 2-11, 9-11. In the semi-final to be played tomorrow Massaro will play Madeleine Perry (Northern Ireland), winner over Deon Saffrey (Wales) 11-2, 11-4. 11-8. 15-02-2013
